Sparkles! was founded in 1991 in Northern Virginia by Santiago and Sonia Valdizan as a home-based family daycare business. Sparkles! started with one child and grew very quickly, from a small, county-regulated operation to a multi-center organization regulated by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Sparkles! Child Care is Growing Every Day
Sparkles! Child Care now has three locations, Fair Oaks, Chantilly, Crystal City and an extended day program at White Oaks Elementary School in Burke.
At Sparkles!, we are excited that our expanded facilities serve parents in the Northern Virginia areas of Sudley, Yorkshire, Oakton, Oak Hill, Herndon, Sterling, Arcola, Brambleton, Sully Station, Arlington and more!

Our Sparkles! Logo History
Our logo is a star with human features symbolizing the ability for each and every one of us to shine given the right opportunities. We have affectionately named it "Lucky", because we indeed need to thank our "Lucky Star" when we are able to trust others with the care of our children. We will earn that trust!
